JESSICA and her daughter KAYLA, who is wearing a leotard and tights, enter the studio.
JESSICA
Go on Kayla and have fun! I’ll be
right here waiting for you when you get out.
Kayla walks toward fellow classmates and another mom ERIN comes over.
ERIN
Is this your daughters first ballet
class?
JESSICA
It sure is.
ERIN Did she beg for you to put her in class after seeing the Nutcracker this year? JESSICA
Nope.
ERIN
Is it because she can never sit
still and you desperately needed something to get her extra energy out.
JESSICA
Naw, she’s just really obsessed
with feet.
Kayla stretches another student’s foot intensely.
ERIN
No way... My daughter is too!
Kayla and another kid take turns putting each others feet on their faces.
